Our Last Day In Bath,

we had such a great time,

we checked out of our hotel,

and started for the car park to drop our cases off into the boot of the car,

stopping for a few poses on the way,

as we neared the abbey,

a few more,

cases dropped of I took a photograph of this beauty on the walk back to town, a French number plate, I know it is a Rolls Royce, but I have no idea of the model or age,

Diana, Steve and Kai outside the pastel coloured display out side of this shop,

and this is where we will be having breakfast, the Square grill house and piano bar,

a quick pose,

and we were inside,

the tea came in this cast iron pot, which was deceptively heavy, but I guess once warm it stayed warm!

Kai,

and myself had tea, Diana and Steve had coffee,

our breakfast arrived, I had 4 sausages, we then realised Steve did not have any, as Battery Sergeant-Major 'Shut Up' Williams would say, "Oh dear, how sad, never mind!", the sad thing is that repeats of It Ain't Half Hot Mum, will never be shown, for fear of upsetting the snowflakes, naturally I gave Steve his missing sausages,

Kai ordered eggs royal,

for Diana, a chefs pancake snack, it was all so nice the bill came to £84.00,

we exited on the street side of the restaurant,

next stop the Cornish Bakehouse

Steve, Kai and Diana bought Cornish pasties for their evening meal, I went with two jumbo sausage rolls,

we started to walk to a cheese shop passing the Indian restaurant that we had such a wonderful meal in,

and here is the shop, Paxton & Whitfield

these were what had caught Steve's eye, a Paxton's Cheddar Pounder, described as "a miniature cheddar, cloth bound and matured in Somerset caves with a nutty bite, earthy notes and a satisfyingly dense consistency",

Steve also bought a few other cheeses,

and there were more,

than a few to choose from,

talk about spoilt for choice!

I looked at the beers and wines,

purchases made,

and we were on our way, past this small pub,

which looked so quaint,

into the car and we were off, Steve kindly offered to drive home, so it was my turn to look out of the window where I saw this neatly named fish and chip shop,

the weather had been so kind to us,

cold, but no rain as we headed back home, we changed drivers at Steve and Kai's home, arriving at our home it was feet up for a coffee and relax, then our evening meal, a Cornish pasty for Diana, sausage rolls for myself, we spent the evening watching Midsomer Murders, just out of interest the stats for the car, I reset all at zero when we left home and had just filled the tank, we travelled 245.8 miles at a average speed of 35.0 MPH the fuel consumption was 47.6 MPG (UK gallon) topping up the car on our return just before home, the fuel cost £44.00, we now have a range of 565 miles, all of these figures from the onboard display, if you would like to see a video of the weir in Bath and a few decorations in a shop window it is here,

and with that we were off to bed.
