Out For Sunday Lunch,

so glad rags on,

 and we were away,

 to Soi Diana,

and into the Robin's Nest,

Diana chose Thai food,

 and nice it looked too,

whilst Mr. Tony and myself went with the Sunday carvery, three courses for 279 baht, Slim Jim was not hungry, but he would join us for a dessert,

I made my way past the bar,

the soup today, onion and chicken,

a selection of meats,

 stuffing and Yorkshire puddings, yummy!

Slim Jim waited out the main course,

 'Cheers!',

 eyes down and tuck in,

ice cream for myself and Mr. Tony,

apple crumble for Slim Jim with custard and ice cream,

 coffee for Diana,

 a latte coffee for myself,

we made our way back to the car,

Mr. Tony had kindly given us a lift,

 looking down towards Second Road,

 and up to Soi Bukaow,

we drove to the end of LK Metro which is L shaped, turned left,

  into Third Road,

 and made our way home,

when we arrived home we noticed,

that two of Diana's stinky cactus had flowered,

 and strange they looked too,

 this one had flowered before,

so we must be doing something right!

they are called stinky or starfish cactus because some of them give out a smell to attract flies and other insects, not to eat them, but for fertilisation,

we moved inside to watch the second in the series Le château de ma Mère, which we all enjoyed,

so we followed that with Jean de Florette and then Manon des Sources, again great films if you like period drams, after saying our farewells to Mr. Tony it was a nightcap or two whilst watching Judge Judy, in case you have noheard of the show, Judge Judy Sheindlin, a former judge from New York, tackles actual, small claims cases with her no-nonsense attitude in which damages of no more than $5,000 can be awarded, it must be a popular show, it has run for 1,420 episodes, from 1996 to 2015, there is just this post for today, Mondays seem to be a slow day for many sites posting things that we find interesting or amusinghopefully there will be other bits and pieces on the blog tomorrow, with that we were off to bed.
