Saturday Has Raced Around Again,

so time for our weekly maintenance,

40% of the water removed from the aquarium,

 and replaced,

 in the cats room,

 Hogue was watching with interest,

 as Diana,

emptied their pool and refilled it,

 Mariana was interested as well,

 Cable decided,

to see what I was doing,

and wanted a close look at the camera,

 then became more interested,

in the pool as it was filled,

then Hogue must have remembered the last time this happened he was shampooed,

so he hid in the box,

in the evening we had our usual bar-b-q,

 starting with garlic bread,

 watched by the kittens,

 next lobster bisque soup,

 which was delicious,

by now one of the other kittens,

and then the second black one had arrived,

all waiting for a share of our food,

tonight only three of them were here, the fourth missing,

 lite the barby,

 showers of sparks,

then on with the food, tonight salmon,

the fourth kitten must have smelt the salmon!

Diana had prepared some Brussel sprouts with bacon,

 and mashed potato,

 'Cheers!',

 cats eyes!

for dessert Diana had bought an Aunties sticky toffee pudding,

which with fresh cream we shared, made by Hansell, it was delicious,

we listened to music for the rest of the evening until the midnight hour, then for us we were off to bed.

When I See Pictures Like This,

I wish I knew more about Photoshop,

and could take better pictures! it is to me amazing that this picture was taken in a car-park,

with the atmosphere of am empty bucket, but Redditor jorgeadguez is a special events photographer, and shows some of the skills he has learnt over the years, He's the one on the ground, making the magic work through effort and experience,

the time of day, the reflection of the water, and the angle produced the effects he wanted, but the raw photo tells us there is a little bit of Photoshoppery involved as well, you can see more of jorgeadguez's work at Instagram, amazing picture, all from a car-park.

Keeping To A Cat Theme,

if you are a fan of Harry Potter,

you will know who Dobby is, well for me and many others this cat looks so much like him, He goes by Dobby Cat on Facebook, but his real name is Teddy, Teddy is an oriental shorthair who lives in a household with three other cats of the same breed (Bindi, Stache, and Dexter), but Teddy has the biggest ears, the longest nose, and legs that go on for days, He's got a meow that they describe as a "honk," but it sounds more like a "beep." you can see more Teddy the Dobby Cat at Instagram and Facebook, what an unusual cat.

Saturday 30 December 2017

It Is 05.00AM,

and you are at an Irish wedding,

so what happens next? well if you are lucky, Clodagh McCarthy, will be there and with even more luck she will burst into song, as she did singing an old Irish folk song at the wedding of her sister Patrice O’Connor and Donagh Davern in Tipperary, the song is Bog Down in The Valley-O, and the words are here, Patrice comes from a family embedded in music and it was no surprise that a sing-song started after the wedding, however, what has happened since has been phenomenal, as the video of Patrice’s sister Clodagh McCarthy singing, with Patrice harmonizing, has gone viral, what a lovely voice she has.

We Had A Quiet Day,

I just popped along to the bank,

and filled the bike with fuel, but in the evening we were off,

to the weekend night market on Thepprasit Road, looking towards Jomtien,

lots of cloud, we did in fact feel a few drops of rain as we were driving to the market,

looking inland lots of cloud too,

last week striped walking, barking, light flashing dogs, this week wavy line ones,

and new for this week, land hermit crabs

I have seen them often on sale as pets in the UK and have heard that there are a number of shops selling them in the USA and Europe,

but this is the first time I have seen them for sale here in Thailand,

there were lots to chose from, from small,

to large, not a great photograph as these were in a glass aquarium, but as with all pets have a look at what they need first before buying

pile it high and sell it cheap! the mantra of Jack Cohen way back in the early 20th century before he founded Tesco,

I walked along a different aisle today, and saw this lady selling coconut ice cream, a bit too cold for that I would have thought,

behind the bar tonight a stall selling assorted goods including cuddly toys, and a shoe stall,

the peanut seller at his usual place at the end of the steps,

 where the auction normally is,

tonight there were a number of numbered goods, some sort of lucky draw I guess,

the fruit stall back as usual,

the steel works have now had the cross pieces put in place over the pet section,

 at the pet stall,

1 pack of dry food and 3 boxes of wet food for the cats,

sunset over the market, on the left there appears to be a number of support pillars increasing in height as they go into the distance, getting ready for the car ramp for the above market car park I am guessing,

a quick look at the stall selling bits and pieces opposite the bar,

it still looked cloudy looking inland,

and it still looked cloudy as night fell,

then a nice surprise, Nicky joined Brian at the bar,

along with his wife Sa and some of her relatives, we chatted the evening away, after saying our farewells we made a move for home,

where we were greeted with the delicious aroma of a chicken casserole,

and then a nice surprise Diana had bought a tiramisu for myself,

and a slice of Black Forest gâteau for herself,

after The Family Chase we watched the first part of Gulliver's Travels, the part of Lemuel Gulliver played supremely well by Ted Danson, of Cheers fame, what a great actor he truly is, we rounded the evening off with a few more Bargain Hunts and with that we were off to bed.
