by the aquarium,
I took a few pictures, these red line torpedo barbs, (Sahyadria denisonii),
a goldfish, (Carassius auratus),
a shubunkin, (Carassius auratus), which has the same name in Latin as a goldfish, as it is one, but the word shubunkin basically means 'a goldfish without scales',
and a clown loach, (Chromobotia macracanthus),
we then had a real treat,
we had bought a uncooked fresh ham, which Diana simmered for a couple of hours, then sliced and served, which is how I ate mine,
but for Diana, she baked her slices in the oven with just a hint of mustard,
both of which were absolutely delicious,
outside the kittens were letting their presence be known,
for the kitten on the left, too much food or are kittens on the way?
hands washed and back inside, after a long break another treat,
Diana had made some mince pies,
which she served with Irish coffee liquors and dates,
and fresh cream,
Diana used the cutters we had bought yesterday, an Easter rabbit, well to me it looked more like a Playboy rabbit, but there it is,
and of course some stars,
we listen to music until quite late, then Diana surprised me by asking to watch The Third Man, I was up in a flash looking through our collection of DVDs, Diana does not normally like black and white movies so this was a surprise,
we had been talking about the movie last week, and here above is the clip I mentioned,
and a couple of pictures,
I took of the final scene, a great movie which I have seen many times and would still like to see again, and with Anna making her exit we were off to bed.
