We Went Out For Our Christmas Day Lunch,

Mr. Tony kindly picked us up,

and this is where we were going,

to The George, we have eaten there many times before, it is in Chaiyaphruek 2 Rd, if you are going away from Pattaya heading towards Sattahip on the Sukhumvit Road when you arrive at the Chaiyaphruek traffic lights turn right and the restaurant/pub is about 100 yards along the road on the left hand side,

 the restaurant supplied Christmas hats,

and Mr. Tony very kindly treated us all to a bottle of champagne to get us all in the festive mood, expertly poured by Ian,

also supplied were some party poppers,

 Diana's starter arrived first,

 home made pate,

Mr. Tony went with the broccoli and Stilton soup,

I decided on the Caesar salad,

 "Cheers!',

one of the waitresses joined us for a Christmas picture, in the background an appropriate film was being shown Holiday Inn where you may remember Bing Crosby famously sings White Christmas

 on to our main courses,

we all chose the turkey which came with cooked ham, sausages in blankets and vegetables,

 then party time,

which was a bit of a struggle,

 the party poppers,

did not give up with out a struggle,

 a real struggle!

Mr. Tony was not giving up,

 but eventually admitted defeat,

and left the honors to Diana,

 our desserts arrived, Christmas pudding,

with cream, lots of cream, and we rounded off the meal with coffees all round, after saying our farewells to Ian and his lovely wife George,

we made a move for home where it was feet up for The Third Man, which we all enjoyed,

then for a complete change of scene, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, originally it was a campy stage play first shown in the UK in 1973, two years later and the film was shot in the United Kingdom at Bray Studios and on location at an old country estate named Oakley Court, best known for its earlier use by Hammer Film Productions, to say the movie has a cult following is an understatement, the film has achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the longest running film in continuous release in history, in other words, there’s never been a moment when The Rocky Horror Show hasn’t been playing in a cinema somewhere in the world in the last 40 years, I even gave my rendition of The Time Warp, much to the amusement of Mr. Tony and Diana, as an aside if you click onto the link you will notice this one clip has been viewed over 8 million times!

then time for a late night snack, ham sandwiches, sausage rolls,

and mince pies, what a great way to end Christmas Day, we said our farewells to Mr. Tony and for us we were off to bed.
