so into a Grab taxi we went,
and our venue for today,
The George, we have eaten there many times before, it is in Chaiyaphruek 2 Rd, if you are going
away from Pattaya heading towards Sattahip on the Sukhumvit Road when you
arrive at the Chaiyaphruek traffic lights turn right and the restaurant/pub is
about 100 yards along the road on the left hand side,
we were here for the 395 baht 3 course Sunday roast,
the joint of pork as always looking delicious, there is also the choice of chicken or beef,
plus Yorkshire pudding, pigs in blankets, roast potatoes and stuffing and a full selection of vegetables,
we meet Mr.Tony there, he decided,
along with Diana on the pate,
I chose the Caesar salad,
after a long break we were ready for the main course,
a bit of everything for Diana,
and Mr. Tony, I went with just the pork,
time for desserts, a chocolate sundae for Mr. Tony,
Diana and myself decided on the vanilla one,
and nice it was too, all of this for just 395 baht,
new for this week a pull down screen,
and ceiling mounted projector, sports fans take note,
although not included we rounded of the meal with some coffees, latte for Diana,
an Irish coffee for Mr.Tony and a Jamaican one for myself, what a great meal, we then made a move back home where it was feet up for some more episodes of One Foot in The Grave,
after more than a few episodes Diana disappeared into the kitchen and came out with a late evening snack,
sausages with brown bread and lots of mustard, after saying our farewells to Mr. Tony we watched a few more from the series and then we were off to bed.
