Day 4,

after breakfast,

up to the 10th floor, a look at the front of the vessel,

we were both enjoying the trip so much,

Diana said I just had to have a pose,

or two,

before lunch,

in the afternoon, by sheer happenstance one of my favorite films was showing, The Grand Budapest Hotel,

we ordered tickets, nothing to pay but the cinema is a tad small, so booking a couple of seats the day before or the same morning is essential,

we settled in, all of the seats taken, but alas with a overhead projector the film was very dark even having seen it so many times before, a lot of the detail was cut, and not having subtitles did not help, the result at the end of the film there were more empty seats than occupied ones,

but that did not put us off of our evening meal,

I have forgotten what starters we ordered,

a 'Cheers!', from Diana, not that she drinks wine,

our main courses arrived, as previous meals in the restaurant they were delicious,

'Cheers!',

desserts with coffee and mint chocolates,

then a few ZZZZZZ's for me, all of that walking around the deck was catching up with me, well that is my excuse and I am sticking with it!

time for the evening show,

again a Baileys for Diana and a spiced rum for myself,

Diana made a short video, after the show a walk looking at the late sunset and we were off to bed, back to the UK. At midday I dropped Diana off at work, then called into Marks & Spencers for some smoked salmon and prawns, more salads as it is going to be a tad warm for the next week or so, in the afternoon I started making enquiries about flights for my upcoming photo workshop in Nambiar, it is not until October, but I always believe in booking flights earlier rather than later, also I ordered some cards for my new photography website,

the front,

and back, next on the list, contact the sash cord replacement company to have a chat about replacing the broken sash cords on 6 of our windows, they are I am guessing all of the same age, so in the past 2 years or so one on each window has failed, bearing in mind they have never been replaced since I bought the place in 1983, and even then they were old, so it is not too bad that so many have now failed, in the evening a crab stick salad that Diana had left for me, with all of this healthy food, salads, I am looking forward to a roast on Sunday, after which the usual Outback Opal Hunters and Deadliest Catch before a Midsomer Murder, after which I was off to pick up Diana from her late shift, arriving home we looked at my proposed flight with Lufthansa, from London to Windhoek, the capital of Nambiar, where the workshop starts and ends, after which we were off to bed.

Day 2

our first day at sea,

we started with a good 'ole English fry up,

then a stroll,

posing on the way!

well I just had to, there was so much to see and places to eat and drink, as well as the casino, and theatre,

we continued our stroll,

then back inside,

to the cabin, for our cribbage board,

then to the lounge for the start of our cribbage tournament, we keep a tally of how many games we each have won, at the end of the cruise a final reckoning, normally Diana wins, but this time who knows?

time for a pose,

then up to the sunbeds by the pool, in the evening a treat,

a invitation,

the first black tie evening,

so glad rags on,

and up to the pool for some complimentary bubbly,

'Cheers!',

as you might have guessed everyone was there,

one of the fellow travellers,

kindly offered to take our photographs on Diana's phone,

this one a selfie with the telephone set on a table,

what a great way to start our holiday,

Diana looking as lovely as ever looking out to sea,

to our table for the evening meal,

a cocktail for Diana, a red wine for myself,

first an amuse bouche, next our starter, followed by,

our man course, the great thing is every meal is different, so a surprise as you read through the evenings menu every day,

'Cheers!', over our desserts,

then into the lounge,

for a couple of late night cocktails,

it was still surprisingly bright, before we were off to bed, back to the UK. We had finally completed my website to hopefully sell a few photographs, it is here, I called it Falcon Kemp Photography, because it is a fact, my middle name is Falcon, so I made my logo a Falcon's head, the website is fkphotography.org

in the evening my normal read and sherry,

I have got to read double quick, 2 issues of Private Eye were waiting for me,

'Cheers!', as I tuck into a ham salad Diana had left for me, in the evening I watched the usual programmes, tonight a Midsomer Murder took me up to the time when I was out to pick up Diana, arriving home a chat, we had a few repairs to do in the flat so quotes that we had asked for were looked at before we were off to bed.
