along with many other comedians, when he and others heard about the book rate payers in the London Borough of Barnet paid for, in a move guaranteed to make every one think what on earth are they doing with our money, the crazy council has produced a book in which staff are told Mother - in - Law jokes are banned, ones like this one from Les Dawson, 'I can always tell when the Mother - in Law is coming to stay.......the mice throw themselves on the traps!' he wrote several books, one entitled 'Hitler was my Mother in - Law' (I bet the Borough of Barnet banned that too!),

have a look above at some of the names telling Mother - in - Law jokes, it is not even a British thing with Jay and Joan joining in, but not in Barnet, I guess the council must be so cash flush they have teams of people thinking up things like this and then spending huge amounts of money to publish the booklets, what a humorless Borough it must be to live in.
