First Stop,

for some shopping,

 to Friendship,

 I dropped Diana off there,

 then I went to TukCom, but I noticed this custom motorcycle in the bike park, so I had to take a couple of pictures,

 it and I guess it's owner have been in Pattaya for many years cruising the streets,

 I made my way past Soi Bukaow,

 and into the side entrance to TukCom,

 coming out I noticed the most green of green cars,

 the picture does not do the green justice, it was so, well green, we then picked up an ice coffee and tea, then home we went,

 on to the evening, Mr.Tony picked us up and it was glad rags on for a trip to Cherry's,

 as it was not crowded I had a look around, firstly at the salad bar,

 next the starters,

 and sushi,

 soup of the day was pumpkin,

 the sign says it all,

 there were 18 or so covered dishes,

 plus a carvery and pizza station,

 and desserts,

 lots of desserts,

 so starters for Diana,

  and Mr. Tony and myself,

 and nice they were too,

 so nice I had a second helping of them,

 on to main courses, two types of fish and spinach for Mr. Tony,

 I decided on a lobster bisque soup,

 with a chicken curry and nan bread, plus two slices of pork from the carvery,

 and a raspberry treat to round the meal off, the restaurant has a International all you can eat buffet on Wednesday and Saturday evenings, the restaurant is located opposite what was one the X-Cite disco on Third Road, but be warned, book or get there early, by 7.30 the restaurant was packed with dinners having to wait for a table to become free,

arriving home we all watched Bedazzled, a great take on selling your soul to the devil, not to be confused with the 1967 original, starring my namesake as Stanley played by Dudley Moore the hapless soul,

after thanking Mr. Tony and saying a safe trip home we settled down to watch one episode of Game of Thrones, then for us we were off to bed.

Talk About One From The Past!

I remember this one's predecessor at a UK drag race,

 when back in the late 1960s E. J. Potter, the 'Michigan Madman',

 rode 350 Chevy small blocks at Santa Pod Raceway in the UK,

well you now have a chance to own what is described as The World's Fastest Motorcycle in 1973 as confirmed by Guinness Book of World Records, and the bike also held three AHRA world records and went the quarter mile in 8.68 at 172mph! this very motorcycle is up for sale at Bonhams, sadly E. J. died aged 71, he was from Ithaca, MI, he passed away Monday, April 30, 2012, at Rosewood Adult Foster Care, Gratiot County, MI. but he will always be remembered by all that saw his breathtaking races and had the pleasure to meet him in person, R.I.P.

I Saw This,

and I want one!

it is the two-tone Alfa Romeo C18 Concept,

 Antonio Paglia is the cars architect and designer working out of Milan,

 it looks so perfect,

and so it should, because Paglia teaches class at the Politecnico di Milano, the artist and designer that’s worked with brands ranging from Ducati to Ferrari and won multiple car design awards created this concept that’s completely unrestricted in terms of real production costs, feasibility and modern design constraints, it is a of course a concept car, will it ever hit the road? how much if it did would it be? who knows, but I know I want one!

In The Afternoon,

the guy from the gym equipment shop called round,

 20 minutes and 800 baht later he was on his way back to his shop, then we were off to the market,

 we parked the motorcycle then walked to the rear of the stalls,

 and made our way inside,

 we wanted to buy some fresh fruit to snack on,

 3 pineapples for 50 baht, that will do nicely,

 a slightly larger bar-b-q than ours,

 we passed by the bug stall,

 food on a stick,

 and the sushi stall,

 and made our way, 

 to the vegetable section,

 today was the day the kittens had their cones taken off,

 so it was play time,

 they all seem to like jumping after the feathers,

 Hogue takes a break,

 then along comes Mariana and Cable,

 Mariana leaps for them,

 next it was Cable,

 but it is Mariana,

 who is Queen of the high jumps,

 it does not look it, but she can jump so high, 

 the games continued,

 then Mariana decided to take a higher look at the front yard, and climbed the mosquito netting on the front door,

 after our evening meal, more fun for the kittens,

 finishing my soda I put the ice cubes into the kittens pool, where they played until the ice melted,

we watched a few from Judge Judy, then 2 more episodes of Game of Thrones, by now as you might have guessed everything is starting to come together, just a shame about the foul language and with that we were of to bed.

KitKat Japan,

is opening a new store,

we have featured the popularity of KitKats in Japan many time before, and here is a new one, to celebrate the opening of a new specialty store in Ginza, Tokyo, they are introducing a limited-edition Kit Kat Sushi set, the new Kit Kats come in three flavors, all inspired by classic sushi types: tuna, sea urchin and egg, ‘Tuna’ is a mix of raspberry chocolate bars placed on a bed of sculpted rice puffs; ‘Sea Urchin’ blends melon with mascarpone cheese, held together by a seaweed wrapping; while ‘Egg’ is pumpkin pudding and rice, encased in a ribbon-like seaweed shell, according to Tokyo Bargain Mania, Kit Kat Japan will launch the sushi-inspired set at its new Ginza store on February 2nd, 2017, but there is a slight catch, the bars will only be available to people who spend over ¥3,000 JPY (approximately $26 USD) at the store, in case you want to visit the store is Kit Kat Speciality Store, 104-0061, 3-7-2 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.

I Have To Say It,

what a stunning picture,

it was taken last year in coldest October by photographer Johannes Holzer who braved the winter cold to setup a series of long-exposure shots along the the Isar, a river in Southern Germany,  Holzer says the photo was done with the sky "on a Sony A7r and Vixen Polarie Startracker, one additional shot for the landscape without [a] Startracker, [and] underwater was done with a Canon 5Dm2 with an EWA Underwater case." all of the pictures were then spliced together, Holzer specialises in Milky Way photography and landscapes, you can see much more of his work and other photographers on Karwendelbilder, what an incredible photograph.
