The 10th Of October,

is a special day for us,

so we decided to celebrate in style,

and book a table at the Hilton Hotel,

 in the Edge restaurant,

it is located on level 14 of the Hilton Pattaya hotel,

which equates to about 6 floors from ground level,

Diana looking as beautiful as ever,

and what better way to start the evening with than a glass or two of bubbly?

tonight it was a International buffet,

I had thought that it was just a seafood buffet,

and there was plenty of that on offer,

 'Cheers!',

I started with a selection of cold meats,

but there was so much to chose from,

including a number of Thai dishes,

Diana just could not make up her mind,

but eventually chose the cold meats and a few other items,

but we could not help but look for the next courses, look at all of those prawns on ice,

pizzas as well for Diana,

whilst I was looking at the turkey and steaks,

on the far side of the bay one of the floating restaurants,

we waited for some of the shrimps to be cooked,

then eyes down tuck in,

another glass of bubbly,

and we were then on to our next course,

turkey, beef and pork for myself,

and similar for Diana but with a slice of pizza,

Diana also saw this strawberry topped crème brûlée, which she just had to try,

before going back to a second helping of pizza, evidently it was so delicious,

there were so many desserts to chose from,

to say you were spoilt for choice was a real understatement,

but Diana made her choice,

of these three,

for myself I decided on some more cold meats and some Brie and biscuits,

here was a bit of fun, it was this lads second birthday so he had a birthday cake and candles, one of the staff gave him a balloon with a wrist band, he just could not make sense of it,

then there was even more fun as Diana found the liquid chocolate machine,

I do not know how we missed it looking round the desserts the first time,

then a bit of fun for me, looking across the bay I could see the Pattaya sign, but I also noticed that when someone walked inside from the outdoor seating area the sliding glass door reflected one of the chiefs cooking food so a click and he was superimposed on the Pattaya sign,

I decided against a dessert but went for another plate of Brie and biscuits,

I guess we should have taken the picture before I ate half of it!

meal over we made our way out of the Edge and past the entrance to the Flare restaurant,

the entrance/exit was very futuristic,

with this eye catching display,

just do not touch it in case it breaks!

we waited for the lift,

and soon we were downstairs for our taxi home, then just one episode from Columbo and we were off to bed.
