We Had Some Great News,

NumChai telephoned to say our camera had been repaired and was ready for collection,

so on the bike and off we went, the first picture of the day with the newly repaired camera,

and the second, it all seemed to be working,

if ever you need it this is the service centre, it is located behind the main showroom almost next to Soi Siam Country Club on the same side,

and the map that is in the NumChai office that also helpfully shows the locations of the Sony, LG, Samsung and Technic repair facilities and gives their telephone numbers,

many times in the truck we have driven along the road that runs parallel to the railway tracks, and as we approach the Soi Khaotalo turning where we turn right to go towards Thepprasit Road there is a small shop on the left, it is difficult to park the truck there as it would block part of one carriage way, but the bike is no problem, so we stopped, this is the view outside of the shop looking towards the junction,

and looking back towards Soi Siam Country Club,

and this is the shop we wanted to look at,

 you guessed it,

the shop sells cactus, they did not have a huge selection, we bought three of them, then the shop owner kindly gave us a gift of one, which was most unexpected,

instead of turning right as we would normally do we turned left and went along Soi Khaotalo for a few yards, then on the right we pulled into this nursery,

there is plenty of parking outside,

and inside so much to see,

with almost countless varieties of plants,

 and succulents,

but these took our interest, cacti,

at 50 baht each the charming assistant pick out the ones we had chosen,

whilst she was packing them we took a walk around,

 so many plants to see,

 and palms,

 plus a few bonsai,

I wandered over to pay our bill,

and have a look at the garden ornaments,

there were so many of them,

with messages as well, whilst there I asked about some small stones to use on our mini cactus gardens, the assistant asked me to pick out as many as I wanted so I chose 10 or 12, asked how much and she replied 'for free!', another nice gesture today,

next stop Friendship for some bits and pieces,

not to many people here today as it is not market day,

and still no clue as to what the new building is next door,

a few pictures of our new arrivals, these three we bought at the weekend plant market on Saturday,

the tree grouped together from the shop on the railway line road, the one to one side was a gift from the owner,

and the six we bought from the shop on Soi Khaotalo along with the complimentary stones,

back to the camera, if you are wondering what 5,000 bahts worth of spare parts looks like this is it, three parts were replaced, the switch that switches between the eye piece and the 3" screen, the flash and the on/off control button, I just hope it all last for another year or more, after our evening meal it was on with TMN cable for the Hungry Sailors, Murdock Mysteries and The Chase, we followed that with the penultimate episode of Prime Suspect, then for us we were off to bed.
