what with that and helping out at the shop I will not be making daily posts as usual,
just a few as things happen, so, when we arrived back from our holiday the Internet was so slow, or did not work at all, so I made an appointment with BT for a engineer to call, I waited in all morning for a BT engineer to call between 8.00 AM - 1.00PM at 2 in the afternoon he still had not arrived, no Internet or less than 1.00 whatever it is instead of 40 - 50, I called BT who were totally unhelpful to enquire what had happened to the engineer, and got cut off once so had to queue again, they said the engineer had completed the job outside and did not have to come inside, I asked whey he did not tell me so I did not have to wait in all morning, mumbled apology, they said to go out if I had to, it would be working as normal when I returned.
Next out to have the new tire fitted, £160 later and all was well, my new phone I had to buy at £380 at least is working OK. I called over to visit Mick, he is a little unsteady on his feet, I wanted to tell him that the shop was being sold, he is making 3 extra bedrooms in the house, a new upstairs, for Sally, his daughter-in-law and her husband to move into, I got home Internet still not working, well done BT. They left a message if it is not working to reply to the message and another engineer would be sent, pity they could not do it the first time!, next available engineer? Monday 1st. December! anyone would think we lived in the middle of the Gobi dessert, not just 9 miles from the center of London, so here is a tip if you want a speedy, reliable service, avoid BT like the plague, I mean it!
On the good news front, I went to the Beckenham Photographic Society weekly meeting, I had left 2 of my prints to be entered in the 'S' Standard class competition when we were not here,
