We Had A Quiet Day,

just staying in and watching television,

but I did pop out to Cherry's to book a table for later in the week, on Saturday and Wednesdays they have a 350 baht International buffet which is always well attended, so it is best to book,

during the afternoon Mark called by for a tea and a chat, after he left TrueVision showed a series of new instalments of weekly shows, Pickers, Kings of Restoration, Deadliest Catch, Pawn Stars, etc which were all very enjoyable, for late evening we settled down to The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp, the film is a long one at two and a half hours, but time just flies past as it follows the life and times of General Wynne-Candy from when he is an idealistic young officer returned on leave from the Boer War through to his retirement as an anachronistic and obdurate Major General, also the loves of his life and a life long friend, a German officer, not I guess a film many will have seen, but great for an old duffer like me! as it happened Diana liked it as well, with that we were off to bed.
