We Did Not Find Anything,

that we found interesting, amusing or just plain weird in the press today,

so straight on with the post, as it was the first Saturday of the month,

it was time to give the aquariums their water change,

then to the photo shop to have some pictures printed,

then to the travel agents, All Season Travel, but it was closed, note to anyone living out here, it appears they close Saturday and Sunday,

then back to Friendship for some milk and a few other things,

arriving back home I gave the other aquarium it's water change,

during the afternoon Mark called round so we had a bit of catching up to do, then it was bar-b-q time,

for tonight we had garlic whole meal bread, marinated chicken, prawn kebabs with garlic and a couple of kebabs of prawns wrapped in bacon, which was a nice change,

Diana cooking them all to perfection,

onion bon-bons with the chicken,

delicious!

Diana also had a couple of hot dogs,

which she really enjoyed,

then a real treat, whilst we were at Friendship we bought a cream horn,

which finished the meal off perfectly,

after chatting the evening away we moved indoors to watch a 3D underwater documentary, Faszination Korallenriff 3D, firstly the good bit, the 3D effects were extremely good, now for the bad bit, I knew it was going to be bad from the beginning with the narrator giving a totally different description as to what we were watching, when he then started talking about flocks of fish rather than schools or shoals, I realised it was going to be a bad one,

in one sequence he was describing a trigger fish and how it was pushing over a sea urchin, then eating it avoiding the urchins spines, the problem was the fish shown was a wrasse not eating an urchin, to make it a bit easier for non-fishkeepers, put in the world of mammals it would be like watching a bison grazing on grass in America whilst the narrator describes a giraffe in Africa reaching the tree tops to eat, dire! as for the content it was a 30 minuet film stretched to 43 minuets, now for the bad news I have already bought the second one in the series,

but to get things back on a even keel we watch Poirot, tonight,

The Million Dollar Bond Robbery
Poirot is entrusted with transferring $1 million in Liberty Bonds to America on the Queen Mary, but the bonds are cleverly stolen anyway.

and after that we were off to bed.
