Shopping Today,

so off to the Central Festival,

I stayed at home but there are lots of pictures as Diana took the camera,

I think Lyn had a new pair of sunglasses, getting ready for a few days on the beach next week,

 Dad strikes the pose,

whilst at the shopping mall a quick look over the beach from the observation deck,

 Lyn sans sunglasses,

 then back inside,

and is it down or up the escalators?

 to the 5D theatre,

Mum and Diana decided not to go in for the ride,

but everyone else had a whale of a good time, outside there is a television showing the theatre goers being thrown about as the film progresses, wind is blows into your face and the seats move up and down and from side to side in time with the 3D film,

and there is also an opportunity to buy your picture that is taken during the performance,

 I think,

 we can say,

 that everyone,

 enjoyed themselves,

even if the 3D glasses were a bit too big,

then better after the shaking about,

than before it, a meal at KFC,

 next a taxi home,

and time to get ready for the weekend night market on Thepprasit road, I dropped everyone off at Tesco Lotus, then drove the truck home where Mick picked me up and we both went to the market,

looking towards Jomtien, the new building a floor or two higher than the last time we were here,

 other than 39 baht each,

I am not sure what they are, but they were certainly colourful,

 nearly clear skies looking inland,

a couple of second-hand clothes stalls behind the bar this evening,

not many shoppers at this end of the first of the food aisles,

but a few at the far end,

and hardly a soul in this one,

a few customers in the pet section,

plenty of stock on display in the only aquatic outlet left here,

 sunset over the market,

a lot of empty spaces, but with Songkran next week I guess a lot of traders have gone home to visit family,

we made our way back to the bar,

just as the mobile ice cream seller came past,

whilst there a nice 'cafe racer' as we used to call them in the 1960s came past,

then the family arrived, they had been shopping and had a meal at one of the pizza parlours in the upstairs food court part of Tesco Lotus,

we were joined tonight b y Brian,

and of course Dad had to have a beer,

all smiles and then we were away,

 into a baht bus,

 and home,

a quick picture then it was feet up for a movie,

another cracking boys own adventure, The Mummy Returns, which we all enjoyed immensely as we picked our way through a couple of huge bowls of popcorn, with the end of the film we were all off to bed.
