Lego Seems To Be Featured,

a lot lately,

we even mention it on our blog a couple of days ago, and here it is again,

this time in Japan, the park will open in Nagoya, the new theme park will feature over 40 different attractions from playgrounds and roller coasters to a Lego factory and building stations,

where on April 1st (no this is not a joke),

Legoland Japan will be opening, among the miniature replicas made from LEGO blocks will be Nagoya Castle and Tokyo Sky Tree, one such attractions is MINILAND, which will feature famous Japanese buildings and landmarks carefully replicated in miniature form using over 10 million legos, how many exactly for MIMINLAND? The park used exactly 10,496,352 LEGOs to complete the landscape, not many people know that! as an aside the park claim it is the only place in Japan you can see Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Nagoya in 1 day, from the blurb,

  • Over 40 rides, shows and attractions
  • Full day theme park experience with family
  • Outdoor attractions for year round enjoyment
  • Seven different themed lands
  • 17 million LEGO bricks and 10,000 LEGO models
for more in formation have a look here and at the official press preview yesterday in Japan, you can see more photos over on Sankei News.
