with another small quiz,
all of these books have one thing in common, most of which we have at least seen the film of,
if not read the book,
and in some cases You may have read the book and seen one of the many versions of the film,
any clues yet as to what they have in common?
this last one gives the biggest clue, and here is the answer, You have at some time been banned from reading them, or in some cases seeing them, they were all far too much for the average member of the public, in case You are wondering why You were not allowed such literary classics, here is a review about the The Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, Tennessee, who banned showing the film Gone With The Wind, even now it is being banned as late as August of this year 2017! the veil of censorship is still here alive and kicking, and I hate to say it getting worse, still I guess censorship is not as bad as it was in 2003-4, when 4 of the Harry potter books were up for being banned, the attempted banning of the novels was originally challenged because it characterised authority as “stupid” and portrays “good
witches and good magic.” D'Oh!
