Off To The Dentist,

Dr. Chanis,

I was lucky, as I arrived there were no patients, so straight onto the chair, the crown glued in and 300 baht later I was on my way,

meanwhile Diana was opposite in Friendship buying some pumpernickel bread amongst other things, shopping completed and we were on our way home,

in the evening it was glad rags on,

and into a grab taxi as we are out for our evening meal, we were both looking forward to an Indian meal at Ratputana, opposite the Central Festival on Second Road,

but disaster had struck, the restaurant was closed! so a change of plan was needed,

 and this was it,

we walked around the corner in to Pattaya Central Road and into the Ali Baba, Indian restaurant,

since our last visit the restaurant has had a face lift,

with coloured lamps added to the decor,

we started with poppadoms and accompaniments,

followed by chicken chat with mint,

 and a prawn puri,

 both of which we shared,

as in the tale, a vase full of jewels,

on to our main course, peas pilau rice,

 chicken tikka masala,

 and butter chicken,

 'Cheers!',

 the restaurant was remarkably full,

then eyes down and tuck in, the meal including 4 or so glasses of wine including 10% service and 7% VAT came to 2,200 baht,

arriving home we decided to round the evening off with The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, although a little long we both enjoyed the film, especially the music, so much so I will try to buy it during the week, and with that we were off to bed.
