who was on a evening shift,
into a bright sunny day,
onto a number 54 bus, alighting at the florists,
that had a good show on, then over the road to Kingfisheries, to pick up some RO water for the Venus fly traps that need soft water,
and by sheer happenstance who should arrive outside in his car? none other than Mick, who tragically lost his wife Pauline a couple of months ago, he has decided to take up fishkeeping, as you can imagine we had quite a chat before he left for home, after which I too was back home, the forecast was for thunderstorms in the afternoon, so I decided not to go into the garden, and spent the rest of the day playing with photographs, for today I decided on orchids,
out of the camera,
like all of the following, I played with the photographs a tad,
after this last one it was time for my evening meal and feet up for a film,
a black and white one, The Sound Barrier, a great Boys Own story, and that is what it is, I often accuse films for distorting the truth, and this one is no exception, but fun to watch, after which a Have I Got A Bit More News For You as Diana returned home, so a coffee and a chat as well as some cherries before we were off to bed.
