Diana and myself both left for town at the same time,
Diana to go to work, for myself a bus into town, so past the snail mail box, I said goodbye to Diana,
and alighted at the florist in town,
a nice Christmassy display today, winter cherries, (Solanum pseudocapsicum),
as well as Chinese lanterns, (Physalis alkekengi), and to save you guessing there are 73 days to Christmas,
in the window,
a nice Halloween display,
but it was over the road I was headed, my problem was that I needed some eye drops, unexplainedly I had conjunctivitis, or red eye as it is colloquially known, drops purchased and I was on my way home,
past some building work on one of the first houses in the park, I decided it was now time to charge the batteries on our cameras and unload any photographs on the memory cards in them,
it was soon time for my evening read and sherry,
and my evening meal, liver and bacon with mashed potatoes, 'Cheers!', after which it was a bit of a treat, alternately a Poirot and Midsomer Murder were playing, I had not watched either of them in a long time, as the next Poirot started Diana arrived home, so feet up for a coffee and a chat as we watched,
The Mystery of the Blue Train, before we were off to bed.
