but here it is so we were off for our Sunday lunch,
we made our way to Cherry's restaurant which is opposite what was the Ex-Cite disco on Third Road,
Mr. Tony also accompanied us and very kindly gave us a lift in his car,
both Diana and Mr. Tony decided on the 325 baht set menu which included this amuse bouche of parma ham and melon, I decided to chose from the menu,
after that a trip to the salad bar,
'Cheers!',
then our starters arrived,
both Mr. Tony and Diana had set menu starter,
which was beautifully presented,
I settled for salmon and prawn terrine,
a pineapple sorbet next,
then we started on our main courses, steak for Mr. Tony,
chicken for Diana,
whilst I decided on lamb chops which are not in the set lunch,
it was then time for our desserts,
and nice they looked to, Diana went with the apple strudel,
Mr Tony chose a selection of ice creams,
whilst I went with the apple pie and ice cream,
which was beautifully presented and with the added cashew nuts a real treat,
naturally I just had to have a latte coffee to finish the meal, yet again Cherry's represents such great value for money, at 325 baht a head for the Sunday set menu it just cannot be beaten, we will be back!
a couple of posts ago I mentioned black-and-white photography, Diana knows all about my camera, far more than I do, there is evidently a feature on it was allows you to shoot in black-and-white, just out of interest this is the result inside restaurant,
and one of us 'Ah!',
in the afternoon we watched the Chronicles of Riddick, we had seen it before but it was still quite enjoyable, returning from the restaurant we said our goodbyes to Mr Tony, then settled down to watch some of the series that we like so much such as Pickers, Gold Rush and Bamazon, then as it was getting late and we had to be up early in the morning we were off to bed.
