seems to have come round so fast,
so it is time for some aquarium maintenance,
today I took approximately 25% of the water out,
then refilled it with water for one of our two 1000 litre water tanks,
this is the easier of the two aquariums to give a water change to, as there is both a drain and a tap by the side of the aquarium,
this one is a little bit more tricky,
I drain the water out into the front yard, then refilled using the garden hose,
I also used some fertiliser on our plants, then all too soon it was time to light up the barbecue, as usual lots of smoke,
but at last the fire started to catch at both ends,
just a tad more to go,
and the fire really caught,
we were now in a smoke-free zone so on with the barbecue,
for tonights meal we had prawn kebabs and marinated pork,
as the sun was setting I looked towards the sky, but yet again cloud cover was going to make moon gazing impossible,
first onto the barbecue our starter, garlic bread,
followed by prawn kebabs,
Diana had coated the prawns in ground red pepper and garlic, then taking a frozen lemon she used a grater to sprinkled the kebabs with fine particles of lemon,
and they were delicious,
for our main course we had baked potato, peas and marinated pork, 'Cheers!',
rather than watch the second part of Silent Witness, we decided to make a start on a television series, American Horror Story, I have to admit I'm not a great fan of horror films, but Diana loves them, we watched a few extracts of this on satellite television, so we decided to buy the complete first season, all 12 episodes and give it a go, we watched the first two episodes in the series, which quite frankly were not scary at all, so no nightmares for me then!
then back to an old favourite, L. A. Law, we watched the first three episodes of season four, which we both found immensely entertaining, then for us to bed.
