I Have Been To Singapore More Than Few Times,

there is a bi-annual tropical fish exhibition there, I normally stay in the Pan Pacific, near the opera center, but now the new Marina Bay Sands hotel has opened I might change my mind and stay there, it has 2,560 rooms costing from £350 a night, I had not read that bit, just a tad out of my budget, but then it has an indoor canal, opulent art, casino, outdoor plaza, convention centre, theatre, crystal pavilion and museum shaped like a lotus flower, the hotel cost a cool £4billion, the resort will employ 10,000 people directly and generate up to £48m each year, entrance to the casino alone is nearly £50 a day, crikey that is more in an entrance fee than I have ever spent in every casino I have been to in all my life combined!
but if you like swimming and have a head for heights this is the hotel for you, 55 storeys up is the sky park, perched atop the three towers, at three times the length of an Olympic pool and 650ft up, it is the largest outdoor pool in the world at that height, also it is an infinity pool, so it looks like you could go over the edge, well with my head for heights I will definitely stay away from the edge!
