There Did Not Seem To Be Much Happening In The Weired Department In The Newspapers Today,

so straight on with the blog, first stop to the TukCom Center, we needed some more BluRay cases for some DVDs Alex had kindly brought over for us,we then spent the afternoon watching some more of Bargain Hunt, also Antiques Master, in this show contestants have to put in order of date 5 different objects at the same time choosing the most expensive and discovering the fake amongst the real items, naturally for us it was a game of chance, (but I did not mention that to Diana when I guessed one correctly!),
then we made a move to the Friday night market, Diana was going to look for a handbag, some of hers were getting a bit worn, if we threw one more out she would be down to only 9!
although only just past 5.00 in the afternoon it was getting dark with storm clouds,
I stopped off at the biscuit and nut stall to buy a pack of cashew nuts, nice for nibbling on later and to put in with a delicious chicken curry that Diana makes,
I had to stop and look at these performing dolls/animals, all gyrating when touched or moving as a novelty,
especially these three naughty ladies!
as I went past the bar there were just a few people there,
I took a walk past the fish and pet section, but there was nothing new there, so I stopped off to take a picture of the market shrine or spirit house,
the fashion of having clogs or crocs with toes on them seems to have past as they are now the same as usual,
artificial floating water lily flowers for the fish pool on offer this evening,
the balloon lady was also here this week,
when I returned to the bar Bill was there, by the way if you are reading this the fish we were talking about was a Half & Half Wrasse, Hemigymnus melapterus, the down side is that they lose their colour as they get older, also I mentioned the biggest one I had seen was about 4 - 5" but it appears some reports put them at nearer 20" fully grown, although this link puts them at 35"!
Numchai, an electrical store is putting on a display opposite the bar this evening,
'Cheers!', from me, it was thirsty work doing all of that walking!
as it was late we decided to call into The Punch & Judy for our evening meal,
the bar was quiet busy, we did in fact have the last remaining table,
beefburger, chips and a pint for me, the 199 baht all day special, with a chicken dish for Diana,
as you might expect the beefburger was delicious!
then home feet up for Pitch Black, a group of marooned space travelers struggle for survival on a seemingly lifeless sun-scorched world, but when the planet slips into darkness as it does every 22 years the group realise they are not alone, great special effects, we had already seen this movie on our Toshiba player in HD, but as it and Riddick were on special offer on BluRay we bought them, just a few moments into the film and Diana said what I was already thinking, 'not as good as HD' but it was nice to watch it again, after watching that, few more from the BBC, then as it was early morning for us we were off to bed.
