We Do Like Going Round Markets,

but here is one in London we have not yet been to,

it is the Columbia Road flower market, which for us liking plants and flowers is a good enough reason to visit, but there are more than a few other shops in the area selling their wares, like this one Far Global, specialising in Indian and African tribal arts, antiques, masks and furniture, before going on I should mention that this is a Sunday market, the shops are open on Sundays from 8am ’til 3'ish every Sunday even on Easter Sunday, Columbia Road is in the East End sitting on the edge of the city with Shoreditch to the west and Brick Lane and Spitalfields nearby,

for ladies clothes Marcos & Trump, Vivienne Westwood shoes, Dents leather gloves, silk fitted dresses, as one reviewer commented, 'it's the kind of shop that immediately turns girls into princesses upon entry with their oh-so-pretty-this'-and thats, from glittering brooches to feather headbands to precious umbrellas, and oh those dresses!' this is a must visit shop for Diana,

Nelly Duff at number 156 looks interesting, it is an Edition House & Gallery established in 2005, the gallery exhibits editions and original pieces from artists at the forefront of the Street, Tattoo and Graphic art world,

two columbia road specialises in a broad range of collectible furniture, associated design, works of art and photography, the shop always carries a good selection of stock from Scandinavia, Europe, and North America, designers include Hans Wegner, Finn Juhl, Arne Vodder, Joe Colombo, Ettore Sottsass, Charles Eames, Poul Kjaerholm and Cees Braakman, plus a selection of artworks, recently they have had works by Patrick Caulfield, Marc Quinn, Joe Tilson, Ed Ruscha, Wolfgang Tillmans, Peter Blake, and Sarah Lucas to name just a few,

at number 82 you will find Vintage Heaven, the clue as to what they sell is in the name of the shop, so with just a few of the shops we have mentioned plus the flower market you will find us there one Sunday!
