Up Early And Off Fishing,

it has been a few weeks since we were here,

so we are expecting a bumper catch today,

the jetty that was in a sorry state,

has been repaired, making things much easier,

Nick was soon into his first fish of the day,

 that was a nice size,

but unfortunately not nice to eat,

 so back he went,

then I caught one, a monster, it was all of 1.5 ounces!

but here is a camera trick, zoom in, hold the fish away from your body and it now looks a nice size,

so it was 1-1 in the fishing stakes, by now Diana was getting hungry, so rather than wait for us to catch a fish she ordered chicken fried rice,

which looked and tasted very nice,

then a second fish to me, it was one that we could eat, but too small so back he went,

Ta-Taa was unfortunately not to well, as she was molting and had also developed a skin rash, so she was being shampooed with a special lotion, but could not stop licking the lotion off, so she had to wear a collar,

Nick and Maureen basking in the sunshine, it was so bright and sunny today,

the bad news was that the fish stopped biting, so the score ended at 2-1 to me, so it was a good idea for Diana not to wait for us to catch lunch!

if you fancy a days or afternoons fishing this is the parks card we normally go to,

the Mamak fishing park, it is off of Soi Nub Plan Wan, (spelt as it sounds), turn into the Soi from Sumkivitt, over the railway crossing and continue for a couple of miles, the road starts to go downhill, near the bottom of it you will see on the right the road the fishing park is in, follow that for a while and the fishing park is on the left,

we were then back to Nick and Maureen's for a roast meal,

 and delicious it was too,

,Cheers!', from all of us, after some cheese and biscuits and some ice cream, we were on the the serious part of the evening,

Monopoly! we all thought I really had a chance, I was one short of completing a number of set early in the game but try as I might I just could not land on the last one to complete a set of properties, but Maureen did!, she became tonight's winner in no uncertain terms, we thanked Nick and Maureen for looking after us so well and made a move for home, we watched a couple of Pawn Stars, followed by Cheers, both of which we enjoy immensely, then for us we were off to bed.
