We Had An Early Morning Guest,

a dragonfly had decided to visit,

it was amazing watching him zoom around,

but silently, unlike many other flying insects there was no sound to be heard as he flew around room,

 and then we were off,

walking towards Theppara Road, in the shade of the trees,

past the big tree as I call it,

and 10 bath later we were here,

 nearly opposite The Avenue,

 we walked towards Soi 13,

passing McDonald's on the other side of the road,

and turned left into Soi 13,

and made our way towards the sea to,

for their 450 baht Sunday roast,

a choice of two soups for starters,

and a selection, of chicken roll and pieces, lamb, pork, beef, medium and well done, roast and boiled ham, plus steak and kidney pie, with a full selection of vegetables,

for our starters, chicken with leek and potatoes for myself,

Diana went for the smoked bacon and pumpkin soup,

 on to the main course,

I missed sausages wrapped in bacon,

a slice of that one please,

 a few vegetables,

and we were back at our table,

lots of gravy on Diana's,

but none for myself, as usual a selection of chicken, lamb, roast and boiled ham, plus some steak and kidney pie,

meal over we made a move for home,

so a walk to the beach, this is the view looking back towards the beach side of Soi 13,

a look across the bay, towards Jomtien,

 and towards Laem Chabang,

so we took a walk along the world class beach,

 and here it is,

we could only walk this far as the tide was in, and deck chairs were down to the waterline,

so we walked along the pavement above the beach, looking at many of the attractions that are on offer,

I wonder if the Gold Finger in this massage parlour has anything to do with James Bond?

we are coming near to the end of the beach,

 a quick pose from Diana,

and we make our way past the sculpture,

then I noticed this massage parlor, but this time they have a Lucky not Gold Finger!

hopefully the rainy season is over, so these storm pumps will not be needed till next year,

and we have now reached the end of the beach,

and the Pattaya water treatment plant,

as soon as you walk here,

you know it is the beginning of Walking Street,

which at this time of day is almost deserted,

we made our way towards Second Road,

 crossing it,

to where the baht bus stand is,

climbing aboard, over the hill and 10 baht later we were home,

later in the evening it was feet up fo the first three episodes of The Last Ship, the third series, and great fun it was too, and with that we were off to bed.
