Diana Was On A Late Shift Today,

so we spent most of the day together, 

after she left for work, I decided to play with some waterlilies, a couple of them here, the one above taken at Kew Gardens in the Waterlily House, we visited it in August 2023, 

this one from a ornamental pond in Thailand, 

time for my evening read and sherry, 

followed by a huge chili con carne that Diana had left for me, 'Cheers!', after the usual Outback Opal Hunters and a Deadliest Catch a Midsomer Murder, after which Diana arrived home, so we watched a fascinating program I had mentioned to Diana, 

the program was a part of Jeremy Wade's Dark Waters, this episode titled Jurassic River Beast, from the blurb:

 “Tasmania is home to species found nowhere else on earth, including a colossal freshwater beast capable of breaking a person's arm. Jeremy Wade will venture into the island's dense, eerie forests in search of this formidable creature”, 

and he finds it! the creature was huge, as it happens so of them can grow to over 12 lbs imagine the size of that crayfish tail salad! as it happens crayfish hunting in Tasmania has been banned for over 20 years to protect the countries crayfish population, by now it was late so for us we were off to bed.
