We Decided To Go To Carrefour,

for a couple of reasons, firstly a letter keeps appearing ,
addressed to some one who does not live here so we hand it into Bangkok Bank who sent it, secondly we wanted to get a tray to hold water to keep some of the moss plants we want to buy at the weekend,
thirdly Swenson's ice cream store!
oh the agony of choice, which to try first!
we had also run out of sausages, so behind Carrefour is KPK Foods, so 6 packs of Cumberland sausages (not sure if this affects these here), should keep us going for a few months,
in the early afternoon John called in, we have not seen him for more than a few months, so over several cups of tea we caught up on what had been happening to us both, after he left we settled down for some television,
first Ultimate Crimes - A Question Of Doubt, from the disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa to the Green River Killer all is reviled or not as the case may be,
from the Hammer box The Nanny, Diana usually does not like black and white films, but she did this one, how did I know? because she stops the movie when she leaves the room! Bette Davis is an English nanny whose charge is 10-year-old Joey, just released from a home for disturbed children where he'd spent two years undergoing treatment for drowning his little sister in the bath, but did he drown her? this is a really gripping movie that I had never even heard of before, well worth watching,
next from the same box, Dracula: Prince of Darkness, now this is more like Hammer, two couples traveling in eastern Europe decide to visit Carlstad despite dire local warnings find there way to the local castle and are surprised at the hospitality extended by Count Dracula, dead for ten years, but his servant has been hoping for such a visit, another piece of good news is that there is a 1 hour film of Christopher Lee talking about some of the films and props he has used on the same DVD,
New Tricks rounded off the evening, Fresh Starts, Gerry has a run-in with David Fleeting who he practically accuses of being a pervert before realizing the man is desperately looking for his wife, the only complication is that she is supposed to have died 18 months previously, but not all is as it seems at first glance, then for us off to bed.
