The Day Started Out Well,

until we switched the oven on,

the trip box clicked, and the lights and oven went out, we tried a few more times with the same result, so there was only one thing to do, we grabbed a Grab taxi and popped over to The George restaurant and bar, we have eaten there many times before, it is in Chaiyaphruek 2 Rd, if you are going away from Pattaya heading towards Sattahip on the Sukhumvit Road, when you arrive at the Chaiyaphruek traffic lights turn right and the restaurant/pub is about 100 yards along the road on the left hand side,

inside we were greeted by the ever smiling George

we all went with the three course lunch, Diana,

and Mr.Tony choose the chicken and leek soup,

as usual I decided on the Caesar salad,

 on to the main course,

a selection of beef, chicken and pork was on offer, plus lots of vegetables,

 our desserts followed,

we all decided on vanilla, the set three course meal is 395 baht per person,

we then all ordered a coffee to finish the meal off,

and as a special treat, I had a Jamaican one,

Mr.Tony kindly dropped us off, we then decided to take an after dinner walk,

along a very windswept Dongtan Beach Road,

we stayed on the beach side of the road, opposite, the usual shops selling beach items,

but on our side of the road a gym,

so I had to give one of the pieces of equipment a try, in,

 out,

in, it was easy for the first 10 or so,

but after 20 I had had enough!

 we continued our walk,

the sea was really rough, with the wind whipping up the waves,

and then in the sand I spotted this little chap,

and was he quick, I just could not catch him up to take a close up picture of him,

we soon neared the seaside entrance to the condo,

and a short walk later and we were home,

then feet up for a late afternoon and evening of Sherlock Holmes, we watched a number of them over a few coffees and then for us, it was time for bed.
