but in the evening we were out,
so it was glad rags on,
and out to Dongtan Beach,
where we went for a stroll,
and a pose,
under one of the trees on the beach,
it was so windy, the sea almost had breakers on the shore,
and this is where we are going, Jomtien Palm Beach,
the all you can eat restaurant we saw on our last walk,
it is just a few hundred yards from the Dongtan police box, walking away from Dongtan beach and towards Satahip,
a quick look at what is on offer, a nice selection of starters,
plus a shusi bar,
roast duck,
and a selection of meats and shrimps,
from the barby,
rolls,
and a number of covered dishes,
with chicken and pork dishes, plus a selection of rice,
to finish lots of desserts,
we chose a table in the middle of the restaurant,
with this view of the sea, as it was windy the blinds were down directly in front of us,
so let the meal commence!
we went with chicken, egg and pineapple salad, beetroot, sweetcorn and salmon,
eyes down and tuck in,
'Cheers!',
next course, duck, prawns, pork and a pork kebab,
delicious!
Diana went with half a crab, prawns, bar-b-qued salmon and the chicken and pineapple salad,
it was so nice, a two piece group playing soft Carpenters type songs in the background,
next course,
sushi, duck, and salad,
we were full to bursting, Diana ordered a drink and it had this shaped pineapple on the side of it,
I thought Batman or butterfly, it was of course a heart,
desserts,
mixed fruit salad and ice cream,
coffee and cake for Diana, the whole meal, restaurant, ambiance, service was prefect, except for one thing, it is a kids karaoke! most dinners were out, like us, for a romantic meal, and there were a few families there, whose kids were invited up on stage and given a microphone to scream along with the singer, great for the family, hell for the dinners! we arrived home where it was feet up for a couple from Sherlock and we were off to bed.
