As It Was Friday,

we were out in the late afternoon,

to the Thepresitt weekend night market, I waved goodbye to Diana as I started at the beginning of the market, Diana stayed on the baht bus as she was going to Tesco Lotus,

at the far end of the market the first thing you see are food and drinks stalls,

and the flame tree, (Delonix Regia),

 which was still,

 putting on a good show,

stalls were still being set up,

 looking inland cloudy skies,

starting at the far end of the market I really like looking at this stall,

it has all manner of natural and worked mineral specimens on display,

I was soon at the middle of the condominiums, looking back towards Jomtien,

 cloudy skies,

 and no improvement looking inland,

I made my way past the toy stall,

at the rear of the bar this evening,

a car showroom had been set up ,with an unusual guest appearing later,

work had continued on the escalators,

a part of the works of which could be seen,

the fruit stall was up and running,

 as was the wicker stall,

that had another Japanese style dress on display,

I walked down to the pet aisle,

 that had a few customers,

both ramps for the cars now making a great place to park motorcycles undercover, if it rains,

the rear staircase set for action,

I had a quick look at the aquatic stall,

 sunset over the market,

on the way back to the bar I passed the central stairwell,

and then reaching the road turned towards the bar

and who was sitting there? non other than Jim, next to a huge crowd of people about to go on a shopping frenzy,

new for this week, a building, or I should say booth where the currency exchange was, I am guessing to collect car parking fees when the market overhead car park is finished,

and here is the unusual guest,

at the car stall I was talking about earlier,

trying to eat a car as all T. Rexes try to do,

and naturally terrorising the local children!

 but really,

 he was a big softy,

even one of the kids Mums had to have a look,

next a real surprise as Doc. Jeff and Nan called by to say hello,

after saying our farewells to them we were off,

to Hemingways for our evening meal,

as a starter roast duck for Jim,

whilst Diana and myself shared a plate of onion rings,

 'Cheers!',

Jim was soon multi tasking, coming to grips with the pancakes, and typing to Cher at the same time!

next our main courses,

a huge pizza for Diana,

for Jim,

a leg of lamb,

and I settled for liver and bacon, with lashings of onions, we all declared our meals delicious, after chatting the rest of the night away we said our farewells to Jim,

 and walked home,

along an almost deserted Dongtan Beach road, then feet up for a nightcap, a couple from Columbo and we were off to bed.
