We Had A Lazy Morning,
the promised technician from 3BB who should have arrived at 3.00 did not appear, but a really scruffy guy from 3BB did at 5.30 demanding 700 baht, I asked if he was the technician but he just shook his head, the sum total of the conversation was '700 baht, what for? 700 baht, what for?' so he left, I will call into 3BB on Sunday if it is open for the third time to try and get the new Internet service hooked up, but in the morning Nick and Maureen called in for a drink and a chat, then for us it was off to Friendship to buy today's ingredients for the Saturday afternoon get together, Diana started preparing the vegetables,
and me looking like I knew what I was doing!
Grieg from Sweethearts called in along with Peter who is in town for a few weeks,myself and Big Jim,
and the ever jovial Mr. Tony,
Mike and Riza also called in,
for starters we had these huge New Zealand mussels, steamed with herbs and spices,
Diana made mince with carrots, celery and a few other bits and pieces in it, along with mashed potatoes and peas,
'Cheers!' from all of us, it is only now that I am looking at these that I realised I did not take a picture of the ever smiling Riza, sorry about that, talk was on many and varied light hearted subjects such as, changes to the UK tax laws on whether you are a resident or not concerning pensions, wind farms, solar panels, volcanoes and the end of the world, many thanks to everybody for bring food and drink over, and for Riza helping Diana make everything go so smoothly, then our friends lefts for their homes,
we settled down to watch another episode of The Brief, we watched season 2 episode 1, whilst watching that our new blue lobster put in an appearance at the front of the aquarium, after a nice evening, then time for bed.
