After Breakfast,

we were off to go shopping,

so to Makro we went, I decided to take the truck so we could stock up on soda water, I drink one or two a day so we bought 4 cases, it just saves the space more than anything else when we go shopping on the bike, also 2 boxes of red wine, the 5 litre size as we had finished our last one,

some time ago we had decided to watch the new Sherlock Holmes, A Game of Shadows movie, last night Mike mentioned it, so on a whim Diana looked up the times at Central Festival, so off we went, when we have been before the seats are 180 baht each, plus a 100 or so for a bucket of popcorn and a coke, we also had to pay a 200 baht phone bill, looking at our money on the table we had 1,200 baht, well more than enough, picking it up off we went, we arrived at the cinema,

'two seats for Sherlock, speaking English', (Thai subtitles)', '700 baht' wow that is expensive, but doubling the price was still in our range of cash in my pocket, but it was not, it was 700 baht EACH! so that was that, I am not sure of seat prices around the world but paying over £28 for two people does seem a lot when people think Thailand is a cheap place to stay, also, no disrespect meant for the many locals who work in hotels, shops or bars, but how many of those workers could pay that kind of ticket price? there was no alternative but to go home, the film was only being shown in the VIP theatre, film studios wonder why people buy copies of films or download them without paying, perhaps this is the reason?

in a line from Rare Birds, 'always have a plan B Dave', Diana did, she had a great idea, we should go to the Royal Garden Plaza, it is bound to be shown there, so off we went, Diana had to pose by one of the mannequins as we went in, we asked about the cinema, only to be told it had closed down! so much for plan B, also during the day, Mr. Tony called by as did Mark, so the day just flew past, it was soon time for our evening meal and watch a few DVDs,

Dr. Michael Swango, managed to get a medical internship at Ohio State University in 1983, nurses at the hospital began to notice that a number of the patients on the floors on which Swango worked became mysteriously ill, he moved back to Illinois in July of 1984 and started to work as an EMT, other Paramedics noted that whenever Michael Swango was in charge of making the coffee or preparing food some of them would become ill, his killing spree then began,

after watching Jack Lemmon in The Odd Couple we just had to watch him again in Some Like It Hot, although black and white Diana enjoyed it, in case you have not watched it two Chicago musicians, Joe and Jerry, witness the the St. Valentine's Day massacre, they want to get out of town and get away from the gangster responsible, Spats Colombo, they're desperate to get a gig out of town but the only job they know of is in an all-girl band heading to Florida so a make over is needed,

Addams Family Values rounded off the evenings entertainment, Pubert is the latest addition to the Addams family and, to prevent sibling rivalry escalating to fratricide, Wednesday and Pugsley are shipped off to summer camp and a nanny is hired, but is the new nanny grave-digging or gold-digging, or both? with that we were off to bed.
