so as we were passing the fishing tackle shop we called in,
at the fishing park the keep nets had more than a few holes in them, so we bought our own for 120 baht, the fishing tackle shop is on Thepprasit road.
the view looking towards Sukhumvit Road, the petrol stations on the left, the same side as the tackle shop and in the far distance the weekend night market on the right, at the rear of that the 3BB office,
Internet bill paid then to Friendship for the food for our Saturday night bar-b-q and the Sunday roast,
but we were unlucky with the roast, for some reason this week the butcher in Friendship had removed all of the skin from the pork, so no crackling, well that would never do, so off to Foodland for our Sunday joint,
we watched some of Judge Judy when we returned, then off to the night market,
the skies very ominous looking towards Jomtien,
looking inland the few bits of blue were soon not to be seen,
and already the stall holders had started putting up awnings,
I think it will be a slow night for the ice cream seller, it was decidedly chilly,
opposite the bar this evening both stalls selling Bike for Dad shirts,
as indeed another stall was further down the market,
I soon approached the fruit and vegetable area,
the aisles not as busy as I thought they would be,
but I guess the grey clouds put some shoppers off,
not so in the pet section as there were a few customers looking around,
half way along one of the food aisles a seating area had been set up,
handily just across from some of the takeaways,
sunset over the market,
as I made my way towards the bar more stall owners were getting ready for rain,
sitting in the bar I could see why, lots of clouds looking inland,
whilst sitting there I noticed this truck driving past to one of the furniture shops further down the road,
as more rain clouds rolled in,
then as darkness fell the skies opened up, thankfully it soon stopped,
we were joined tonight by Brian who had spent a few days in hospital last week as he had dengue fever, he was bed bound for 3 or 4 days, but is now over the worse, we have both been in the wars as I am still on antibiotics for the cyst on my back, after saying our farewells we were off home,
where after our evening meal we watched a few from Highway Patrol and Border Patrol, then a real treat, some more of Mr. Selfridge, we watched all of them except the last, we have that to look forward to tomorrow evening, with that we were off to bed.
