to go fishing with Nick and Maureen,
the first few huts were full, so we found ourselves about half way along the lake,
so it was a good position to shoot a panorama of it,
and we were at swim 15, the fishing was slow, for the first hour not even a bite, then Nick caught a small one, so 1 - 0 to Nick,
Diana had not eaten breakfast, so by now she was hungry and as there was no signs of a fish breakfast Diana, (she of little faith), ordered a Thai dish,
and you guessed it, just as her breakfast arrived I caught my first fish, so off to the kitchen it went,
and here it is in the time it takes to cook it later, if you fancy a day out the Paifon Fishing Park is off of Soi Nub Plan Wan, (spelt as it sounds), turn into the Soi from Sukhumvitt, once in the Soi go over the railway crossing and continue for a couple of miles, the road starts to go downhill, near the bottom of it you will see a big pink building on the left where we normally turn right into the old fishing park, do not turn right, keep going until you see Soi 24 and turn right, there is a 7-11 on the corner, continue for about a mile it is past Soi 14, the concrete road comes to a strange cross road,
take the one with the sign on it and the park is on the left hand side, and the score for today? in a sudden flurry I caught 3 more fish, all keepers in rapid succession, literally as I recast another took the bait, and that was it for the day, the final score 4 - 1 to myself, we stopped off at Nick and Maureen's for a coffee and cake than made a move for home, the roadworks slowing us as usual taking us a tad over 1 hour to arrive home,
after our evening meal we watched a couple of programs about antiques, then another from Game of Thrones, and with that we were off to bed.
