We Did Not Wait Till Saturday,

it was home grown mushrooms on toast for breakfast today,

 then we were off,

to NumChai on the Sumkivitt Road,

to the service centre, which has moved from this the old office,

to the new one opposite, I checked the camera in so we will wait for an estimate, for pictures we are now back to using a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ25, which with its housing we also use for underwater pictures,

 next stop Friendship,

Diana went shopping in the market and the store, I went across the road to,

our dentist Dr. Chanis to have the crown that fell out yesterday re-glued, 200 baht later,

and we were outside the rear of TukCom hoping that our take home coffee arrived before the rain did,

 we made it,

just in time it was a huge unseasonable rain storm, the rainy season typically is from May/June to October, the good news is that I will not have to water the tomatoes tomorrow,

also in the good news department was that the rain finished and the ground dried in a couple of hours so we were all set for the weekend night market on Thepprasit Road,

there were lots of stationary mobile food sellers by the motorcycle park,

note to self, when standing in the middle of the road taking pictures some of the stationary food sellers, some of them can become mobile,

the business side of one of the selling carts,

 looking towards Jomtien,

 some last whips of cloud,

even though it was a bit dull,

  these toys almost glowed,

the Za Sha shop open with a display outside this week,

we just love fresh fruit in the afternoons, and there is plenty to choose from,

 still cloudy looking inland,

have you got one in blue please?

opposite the bar this evening a stall selling shorts being set up,

no new work on the construction since last week,

I made my way to the pet section,

this is the stall we normally use,

what I did not know was that the owner had this stall on the next row of shops,

where she sells cages and bulk supplies of pet products,

 the petting station,

 waiting for customers,

and a couple of customers at the aquatic stall,

 sunset over the market,

the shrimp/crayfish sellers were here again but not so many as previous weeks,

one of the fruit sellers pushing uphill to Thepprasit Road,

and joining us here from America Russ, along with Brian and Jim,

I am not sure if it was because of the rain, but the sky looking inland did look rather pretty,

we said our farewells and made a move for home where we were greeted with a delicious aroma, beef stew,

and dumplings, we watched some cable television then Barry called round with a couple of DVDs he thought we might like, after saying good bye we settled down to some Judge Judy, a couple of Antiques shows then we were off to bed.
