We Decided,

on a day at the beach,

 so beach clothes on,

 and we were off,

 to Dongtan Beach Road,

we almost had the beach to ourselves,

hardly a soul to be seen,

 a quick pose,

and a look at where to sit,

as it happens we decided to walk to where we sat the last time we were here,

 work was continuing,

on reattaching the swimmers safety zone buoys,

the tractor moving beached ones after the storms of last month,

watching all of this activity was thirsty work,

also active out in the bay,

was the crew in the boat fastening the buoys to their moorings,

and a flotilla of windsurfers at the start of their race,

 meanwhile,

the tractor continued retrieving buoys from further along the beach,

 time for a quick snack,

3 trays of spring rolls, fried crab or prawns for 100 baht,

the tractor returned with a few surplus buoys,

we had a lovely day on the beach and at about 5.30 in the afternoon made a move for home,

after our evening meal a couple of films, firstly On the Beach, the original 1959, a story of how a nuclear war started, and was going to finish in the peace afterwards, the human race, great acting all round, a real gloom and doom movie, but for some reason I kept remembering the Tom Leher song,

We Will All Go Together When Go, if you do not know him he was an American starist, a few lines from the song,

We will all go together when we go
Every Hottentot and every Eskimo
When the air becomes uraneous
We will all go simultaneous
Oh, we all will go together when we go.

as the New YorkTimes quoted on 9th February 1959, ‘Mr. Lehrer's muse is not fettered by such inhibiting factors as taste’,

our next and last film of the evening was Outbreak, a particularly vicious virus threatens to take over the world, made even more dangerous when it has military help in doing so, and with that we were off to bed.
