Do Not Mess With Fish 293,

and you thought fish were fun!

photograph Angling Times, well this is fun if you like fishing, and it could have been a new British record, for a bullhead, in my day we used to call them Millers' Thumb, the current record for a bullhead is a mere 1 oz, according to the British Record Fish Committee, the lucky angler was Jay Cleeve, Jay was fishing for the evening, as he often does, on a small stream close to his home in Lincolnshire when he caught the fish of a lifetime, the stream where he was fishing is only 5 or 6 feet wide, "My only regret was not having digital scales small enough to register his weight, but needless to say, I'll be going back with some, hoping I'm lucky enough to catch such a fantastic little fish again," he said, going from one extreme to the other, how about this monster,

photograph via Facebook, Kacper Stępień (centre) with the giant, 104.5-pound common carp he caught from a private pay lake in Hungary, to another fish that could be a record breaker, Kacper Stępień could be a new world-record-holder for common carp after landing a massive fish from Euro Aqua, a private lake in Hungary and a renowned carp fishery. Stępień was fishing there on Sept. 16 when he caught the 104.5-pound common carp, which would easily break the current IGFA all-tackle world record should it be accepted by the organization, the potential world-record catch was highlighted in a recent post on Euro-Aqua’s Facebook page and on Stępień’s personal page, on paper, his carp easily surpasses the current IGFA all-tackle world record for common carp. That fish weighed 75 pounds 11 ounces, and it was caught in France in 1987 by Leo van der Gugten, in order for Stępień’s record to be accepted by the IGFA, however, he’ll have to submit it for record consideration — a lengthy process that requires a significant amount of paperwork. IGFA judges would then scrutinize every aspect of the catch, from the tackle and scale used to the witnesses who were there that day, for the full story have a look here.
