Diana Was On Early Shift,

so when she finished work she called,

so I was soon out of the park,

where I bumped into Frank and had a quick chat,

and caught the 354 that Diana was on, arriving in Bromley we made our way past the Partridge,

and the square,

the hanging baskets looking nice,

we stopped in Costa,

for a coffee,

Diana decided against a cake,

for myself a huge latte,

we passed the flower seller,

and this one,

selling balloons,

and made our way to the shops,

above the precinct,

lots of umbrellas,

we were on a mission, firstly to buy Diana some work trousers, and for myself a waterproof top, the pockets had ripped out of the old one and it looked scruffy to say the least, but no joy in Decathlon,

we also tried Marks & Spencer's, as we passed the stall selling plants,

also in the precinct,

there was a small fun fair here,

next stop Sports Direct,

but ended up in Millets/Blacks,

suits you Sir, suits you,

purchase made and we were on out way,

past The Glades, in all of the places we looked at Diana had also been looking for her work trousers, we then hatched a cunning plan,

I would wait in The Greyhound whilst Diana popped into Primark, success, Diana bought her work trousers and joined me, where as it was getting late we decided to eat there,

a huge pizza for Diana,

scampi and chips for myself 'Cheers!', the bill with a soft drink and a wine came to £24.20,

we caught the 354 back home, but decided to walk through Westgate Road, a music festival is planned for the park,

the road is a mud bath in the winter,

in the summer it turns into a dust bowl,

turning left some work had been done to the road,

it had been compacted,

and along one side a ditch had been dug and a bank raised, so no bluebells or daffodils next year!

it was a ongoing project it would appear,

a pose for the album and we were home where it was feet up for a coffee, we watched a Midsomer Murder, Diana had a early night, a early shift yesterday, today and another one tomorrow,

for myself it was feet up for Charlie Wilson's War, who just happened to be a true life person, it was about his help in Afghanistan, in a covert operation to supply arms, after which I was off to bed.
