Yesterday After A Few Phone Calls,

a few of us made our way to Prechai seafood restaurant,
Uncashar and Diana ready for the off,
and Mark Eric and a mystery guest also called round as we waited for the baht bus to pick us up,
on the way there the old seafood restaurant by the second set of lights that we go through from Tepprisit has changed it's name to The Villiage,
a quick shot of the new floating market on Sumkivit, I have not been there yet, but it seems very popular with the tour buses,
then past the Ambassador Hotel,
and turn right at the next set of lights,
you then come to a market and turn to the left, normally this place is packed, but as it was a Sunday there was no market,
the entrance to Prichai with lots of live seafood to look at,
these shrimps we will see later, lightly steamed they there were delicious,
and King lobster, but they were 2,400 baht a kilo, (the 200 baht sign was for something in the tank below the lobsters)
in another tank these mussels were huge, about 8 or 9 inches long,
Mark brought along a bottle of Bushman's I brought my usual quantity not quality Corrello,
Jeab, Noi and Joe arrived later,
green mussels for starters,
and fresh oysters,
the prawns we saw earlier now steamed,
smiles as the food was so nice,
curried crab,
pose for the camera, then back to eating!
a group shot, the mystery guest is sitting behind me,
on the left a couple of fishermen try their luck as the sun goes down,
the night before there was a huge thunderstorm in Pattaya, it woke both Diana and myself up, the good news was that the accompanying rain knocked all of the dust out of the air so we could see clearly for miles,
ah! Diana and myself as happy as ever,
after a short break some more goodies arrived, rock lobsters and prawn doughnuts complete with melted butter,
now Joe the magician is going to do one of his magic tricks and make the butter disappear,
before the prawn tempura arrives,
followed by boiled crabs,
they say that if you listen carefully you can hear the sun hiss as it sinks into the ocean,
Eric really enjoying his food,
the sun is down at last,
after an excellent meal we made our way back to the baht bus, but in the car park I spotted this people carrier, although it does not look it, these were the biggest wheels I have ever seen on a vehicle like this,
and the tyres were so thin, I am amazed with the roads as they are out here that the rims do not buckle when they hit a big hole in the road,
a view of the restaurant as we left, a great meal was had by all, then it was back for a few drinks at 388 and we watched a DVD or two then time to hit the sack, "Cheers!"
