First Thing And I Arrived At Nissan,

with 50,000 kilometres on the clock it was time for the trucks service,

this is the sign to look for, as you are coming from Bangkok to Pattaya, leaving Pattaya you have to do a 'U' turn,

it was still early about 08.15 so I was the first one here,

 looking towards Pattaya,

and away from it,

I had called the day before to book the truck in, the service consisted of oil and filters change, check and refill the air conditioner, new wiper blades, brake pads all round, valet and about 6 other things that were in Thai on the invoice, total 4,500 baht (at today's rate £93.50  $146.60), great service, free hot coffee or chocolate, but as it takes about two hours remember to bring a book,

 next stop the bank, again!,

as we arrived home Jake wanted to say hello,

he is really getting quiet big now, softie that he is Diana is still very wary of him, she just does not like dogs,

after a few shows, Deadliest Catch, Restoration, Pickers, etc, and our evening meal we settled down to watch the rest of Upstairs Downstairs, we had enjoyed the first episode so much, the second and third was as good, the 1930s are a difficult time in England, the Depression has taken its toll with high levels of unemployment, Fascism, which has become popular on the Continent in Italy and Germany, is also finding followers in the UK with Oswald Mosely's British Union of Fascists, the Bellamy household now finds it too is not immune from dissent,

well we had to watch a 3D movie, so it was on to Alice in Wonderland, the basic story is that a young lady is to be married to a English chinless wonder, she escapes by falling down a rabbit hole and emerges a wiser girl, great fun missing the cups and other bits of crockery being thrown at you, I do remember reading this book many years ago, also being told that the writer, Charles Lutwidge Dodgson was in some circles to be a suspected drug user, hence his fantastical writings, it could of course be that he was just talented and his contemporaries wanted to malign him, citing this and other not so savoury things about him, in any event his pseudonym, Lewis Carroll, became a household name as an author, with that we were off to bed.
