We Take It As Read,

that when ever there is a rain storm we lose our television signal,

then yesterday for no apparent reason it went out again, after a few moments of having a blank screen this message appeared, a sun outage, this happens twice a year when the satellite is between us and the sun, the effect is due to the sun's radiation overwhelming the satellite signal,

so for about 10 to 12 minutes there will be no signal, so we must make sure we are not watching anything important on those dates!

we had a lazy day, we decided not to clean another part of the concrete of moss, also we were going out at about 4.00 in the afternoon to Preecha seafood restaurant, it is about 10 miles out of town at a place called Ban Ampur, there are in fact 4 or 5 restaurants in the area, but having tried them all this one we have found to be the best,

we were joined by Russ, then Mr. Tony very kindly called into town to pick us all up,

as usual our dinner was on view as we walked in,

so many things to tempt us,

 'I want that one!'

if only I had remembered to bring my Barclaycard!

just round the corner more food on display,

we walked through the large dining area,

through the outside smoking area to a smaller section where we normally sit, new since we were last here is a jetty for waterborne customers,

 in the distance a yacht,

 I zoomed back,

the artificial jetty is still stopping the sand from washing away,

and there is the yacht in the distance,

the first order of our food arrived, some steamed shrimps,

followed by prawn doughnuts and steamed mussels,

the sun was now starting to go down, but unfortunately there were too many clouds to see it,

next course tom yum gong, a spicy soup with shrimp, but we asked to have some coconut added as that makes it taste even nicer,

still no sign of the sun,

we followed the soup with some seafood rice,

baby clams in red curry sauce and some morning glory,

 'Cheers!' from all of us,

we then all shared a large curried crab,

during the meal a small lizard kept making an appearance on the hand rail,

so I left a few grains of rice out for him,

but back to our meal, some steamed crab legs, this is the easy way to eat crab, the meat is at the end of each leg, no messing around just eat and enjoy!

we finished with some rock lobster fried in garlic, plus another helping of prawn doughnuts, we could not eat another thing,

the lizard by now was getting quite bold,

I kept leaving the rice nearer to me,

the little chap was getting to be more than well feed,

but he was still not sure, every so often he would freeze and look,

but then start to eat again,

after another break we finished the meal off with some fresh fruit,

we walked past the main dinning area to Mr. Tony's car, he very kindly brought us all back to 388, where it was feet up and have a coffee or two, Russ then decided to head into town,

so for us and Mr. Tony it was another instalment of Judge John Deed, after watching that it was late so we said our goodbyes to Mr. Tony, then for us we were off to bed.
