We Were Out And About Again Today,

but first here is another look at another set of traffic signals,

the inside lane is clear of traffic as cars and bikes have turned left on a red light,

although the red arrow is obscured by leaves, if you approached this sign and the lights were on red would you turn left or stop? you would of course stop, it is illegal to turn left on a red, but not many do stop, worse the motorists behind you let you know loudly if you stop!

we went to the skin clinic, thankfully the doctor was in, also the good news, Diana saw the specialist straight away as no one was waiting, so some cream, tablets and soap and we were on our way,

in the afternoon Jay and Precil popped round for a tea and a chat, then we were off to the weekend night market, as we set off there was a slight drizzle,

but no real rain even though the skies were overcast,

but the drizzle did not put shoppers off, it was quiet crowded,

a few people in the pet section,

the new aquatic shop was still here,

with a good stock of wet and dry goods on display,

the other aquatic outlet on the corner was busy,

still a bit grey and overcast, but no rain so far,

if you are hungry this is not the place to walk past,

4 pans of boiling oil cooking chicken, its smell is so tempting

I then walked along the stalls back to the bar,

 this one selling hair clips,

in a huge variety of colours,

 and sizes,

they almost look like works of art in their own right,

 next back to the bar,

a few more rain clouds came rolling in,

the stalls opposite the bar preparing for the worst,

I am not sure what they are selling but at 2 for 300 baht it has got to be a bargain!

as it got darker the rain thankfully held off,

the awnings were removed and the sales began,

Diana had popped over the road to have her nails manicured, then called back with some shopping, lots of fresh fruit, some chicken on sticks and a pair of shorts, then home to 388,

where we were greeted by a frog,

but not the normal one we see,

this one was just plain coloured,

 whose a pretty boy then?

red wine, spicy chicken on a stick with boiled rice followed by some fruit was our evening meal, then feet up to watch some television, we caught up with some of the series we like so much, Pickers, Kings of Restoration and Swamp People, then for us we were of to bed.

Stan,

If your still on your diet. Try not eating carbs eg rice during your evening meal. You will see a big impact on the love handles.

Dear Daryle, many thanks for the tip, I must admit I am still trying to lose weight so I will cut down on late night rice, out of interest I weigh myself at the same time (midday) every day just wearing shorts, from just over 92 kilos about 4 or 5 weeks ago, as of yesterday I weighed in at 87.2, having said that today is Sunday so after lunch it will be up a tad! best regards, Stan and Diana.
