the immigration office in Jomtien Soi 5,
Diana had to make her 90 day report,
mine is due next month, well I hardly had time to sip my coffee when she was out and ready to go,
so into town for breakfast we went, looking along Walking Street all was quiet,
after parking the motorcycle we made our way back to the beginning of the street,
but we had to stop for a quick pose,
outside of The Stone House,
we had decided on the Pattaya Beer Garden for our meal, it is at the end of a walkway on the right or seaside of Beach Road just before the start of the street,
the bar complex we are walking past has a small shrine at the start of the walkway,
looking along Pattaya beach past the water treatment plant, the new concrete structure that holds waste water pipes is now completed,
at the end of the walkway the garden with it's pool,
the far end of the bay,
and looking the other way the famous Pattaya City sign and Bali Hai pier,
out to sea the paragliding companies were doing good business,
one,
two,
and then three all in the same picture,
our meal arrived,
sliders or mini beefburgers for Diana,
and a prawn cocktail for myself, the meal with a coke for Diana and a ice coffee for myself came to 370 baht,
we made our way back to the Walking Street looking at the new construction,
then I saw one of the new pumps I keep reading about, apparently the drains sometimes can not cope with the rainwater when there is a storm,
so these huge pumps dump the water into the sea, what a neat idea to get rid of the waste water in the drains in a hurry, and hopefully this will stop homes and businesses from flooding,
just next to where we parked the motorcycle,
is this famous bar Gulliver’s, AKA Red Car Bar, with a car mounted on the wall,
on the way home we stopped off to buy some of the new crop of seedless grapes,
what a difference a little bit of presentation makes, a stall nearby has a pile of grapes on display and that is it, here nearly every bunch has a small leaf placed near the top of the bunch, it makes them look a lot more attractive, coincidentally this is also the stall we buy our pineapples from,
in the afternoon we watched a few game shows, then after our evening meal we settled down to Priest, where in a future earth the world is ravaged by vampires and the humans that are left rely on a group of Priests to keep the hoards of vampires at bay, great all action film, with the vampires not like any others we have seen, we rounded the evening off with a few from Suits and with that we were off to bed.
