over the weekend,
that the orchid with the large stem of flowers,
had started to open, so out with the pocket camera,
and I started snapping away,
not the easiest thing to do as the flowers were facing the sun, and I did not want to move the plant, but they sort of turned out with a pleasing look,
afternoon tea and cake, followed by our games of cribbage, Diana decided not to buck the trend, and lost, after our evening meal by shear happistance, a number of our favorite programs followed one after another, starting with Poirot,
followed by an extended Endeavour, finishing with another from New Tricks, which brought us up to nearly the midnight hour, so with the end of that we were off to bed.
