during which,
as I typed the blog one of the crows stopped on the window sill for some peanuts,
whilst below,
the fox waited for his,
handful to be thrown out to him, then it was feet up,
for Dr. Terror's House of Horrors,
(1965), featuring for the time an all star cast, including Peter
Cushing, Christopher, Lee Neil McCallum, Roy Castle, Donald Sutherland, Peter
Madden, Alan Freeman and lastly The Tubby Hayes Quintet, not a horror in that
it made you jump, just the telling of the cards by Dr. Schreck, as to what
fate befalls his traveling companions in
a railway carriage, great 1960s fun actually, a couple of quiz
shows, after our evening meal, one from Poirot, one from Sherlock Holmes, we
then decided to watch a film,
and what a gem it was, Limitless, with amongst others
Bradley Cooper, and Robert De Niro, a great plot and what cinematography,
in some of the scenes Diana was laughing, at me closing my eyes! as
some of the scenes featuring heights was so convincing, other scenes such as when
you are taken through the back window of a taxi and then out flawlessly through
the front and along the pavement were just breath taking, we were so enthralled
by this movie it was just so entertaining, all the time thinking what would I
do in the same circumstances? as I said a real gem, if you have a spare slot in
your viewing program, we can both really recommend this as worth
having a look, as the film finished we watched one more from New Tricks,
then for us off to bed.
