Diana Is On Early Shift,

for the next few days,

which meant I had a quiet day, I had a chat with Graham, Steve and Alan on the telephone until Diana returned home, we watched a couple of quiz shows before our evening meal, Diana made herself a Filipino dish, a sandwich for myself,

after which we watched a couple of Antiques Road Trips, in which two antique experts head out on a trip across Britain in search of items at bargain prices. After that they head to auctions, where they put the collectibles up for bid and hope to make a profit. The antiques featured range from typical items like household goods to one-of-a-kind finds that include historical artefacts, all proceeds of the sale go to charity, the thing is that they are experts, many of them actual auctioneers, but even with all of their expert knowledge they still make some howlers, for instance paying £80 for a set of 6 vintage spoons, only for them to sell for £15! any way great fun guessing how much items are worth before the auction, we followed that with a 2 part New Tricks, after which we were off to bed.
