Yesterday Evening Steve And Myself,

meet in Southey's for a drink and a chat,

whilst there we staring chatting about how much we both liked our stay with the girls in Paris, and by sheer happenstance today I came across these,

in the early 1950s, Swiss designer Gérard Ifert walked the streets of Paris on quiet Sundays, taking pictures of colourful shopfronts,

Paris Colours is a slim photobook that gathers together 33 photographs by Swiss designer Gérard Ifert (b.1929), together with a text by Catherine de Smet, who is currently working on a forthcoming book about Ifert’s work,

I think it would make a good follow up today,

to revisit these shops of the 1950s and rephotograph them, or what is there now, the full article is here in Eye Magazine, but what a coincidence, talking about Paris last night and then stumbling on this article this morning.
