Diana Was On A Late Shift Today,

so we spent some time together in the morning,

I should say it will be a short post today as first thing we will be going to Kai's home, as it is the 100 day remembrance since Steve passed away, back to Saturday, in the afternoon after Diana had left for work it was play time with a few more photographs, and here they are:

a solitary sugar palm when we were in Vietnam,

and two from Venice,

from some of our trips there,

and lastly one from a walk along the River Thames near the O2,

I mounted them in black surrounds, so they are all ready to hang on the wall or take to the club when it reconvenes in October for any competitions that there might be,

it was soon time for my evening read and sherry,

followed by liver and bacon, 'Cheers!', meal finished, after a Giant Lobster Hunters a film,

The Chronicles of Riddick5 years after Pitch Black, the wanted criminal Riddick arrives on a planet called Helion Prime, and finds himself up against an invading empire called the Necromongers, great special effects, next a It Ain't Half Hot Mum, before Diana arrived home, so a coffee and a chat before we were off to bed.

Dear Stanley and Diana-
Alley mentioned a few days ago that the Thai tradition of 100 day. Anniversary was coming up. She indicated this was a very important day marking time passed for one’s death. We are still both in shock about the terrible ordeal Steve experienced. We hope over time Kai and all will gradually teplace the sad feelings with thoughtful memories of times spent with Steve.
Meanwhile, we love your latest quest to focus on your photography hobby. We love all your pictures and do hope you can score a win in either your local club or the big time. (Side note-most the time hoses leak at the faucet are caused by a missing hose washer that is inserted inside the female coupling. This is the flexible gasket that allows a wat tight seal. Bet your kit failed to provide one!)
Enjoy ghe foxes and your summer weather!
Best- John and Alley

Dear John and Alley, yes it was an important day for Kai, well all of us, he is still so sorely missed, thankfully Kai is getting along better now, starting work again and spending time by herself. I am having great fun with the photographs, but the big competitions are well out of my league, but they are free and it gives me a chance to look at other photographers work, I keep thinking to myself 'I must try that' as I look at different photographs and some of the effects they use. I am happy to say a washer was supplied with the female coupling in the hose kit, but no matter how tight I tried to make the coupling to the tap it still leaked, so some PTFE tape I think it is called will hopefully do the trick, today is a bank holiday over here so after some shopping in Bromley we are going to the park as there in a children's fun fair there, but more importantly food stalls! best regards, Stan and Diana.
